Activities in Nigeria include the following:

4 Advocate for economic development strategies that lead to increased economic opportunities for writers, performers, cinema producers and other creative arts in Nigeria

4 Search and development of Nigerian talent with a particular focus on achieving world standards in literacy for all segments of Nigerian society through the involvement of Nigerian writers in literacy programs.

4 Advocate for the development of Nigeria as a destination for cultural tourism with writers' resorts and workshops.

4 Celebration of Nigerian cultures and traditions including oral and written literatures in indigenous languages and dialects.

4 Organization of events such as demonstrative poetry readings, poetry slams, book fairs, book talks, literary conferences, etc.

4 Assisting Nigerian and writers from other African countries to publish and promote their works outside of Africa including stage performance and cinema production opportunities.

4 Exchange of Joint Readings, Drama, Symposia, with other African countries and African Diaspora groups

4 Awards and recognition including travel opportunities to the US, Europe and Asia.
